From water quality studies and drug abuse statistics to innovative community drug take-back programs and challenging regulatory issues, the national conversation underway about this issue is evolving quickly. This session will focus on drug take-back, including an update on relevant federal regulations and policies, an in-depth discussion of state legislative initiatives, and a status report on PSI’s National Dialogue on Waste Pharmaceuticals.  Poster Session: Members of the PH:ARM team will be on hand with a display before and after the session to answer questions about the innovative medicine take-back program that has operated in Washington since 2006.
