This session will provide an overview of electronics product stewardship programs that are being implemented across the US.  The session will compare and contrast the different program components, including the structure of stewardship organizations, performance criteria, collection mechanisms, publicity requirements, environmental performance standards, governance, and reporting.  The session will identify the key elements that drive large volumes of equipment into a program and make a program successful.  Experts from the newly launched Oregon E-Cycles and E-Cycle Washington programs will provide real-life examples of what works and what doesn't.  This session will provide any policy maker with valuable, practical tools they can use to develop successful product stewardship policies and programs.
