This session will provide an update on current work being conducted in Washington and Oregon on selecting chemicals of concern to meet legislative requirements and to provide an oversight and update of progress on establishing a multi-state chemical clearinghouse. After short presentations in these areas, the floor will be opened for discussion and questions on these and other chemical data related topics. The objective of the session is to provide concrete examples of work being done at the state level to identify chemicals of concern and to discuss challenges faced during these processes. It is also to provide a forum for sharing of information, challenges and perspectives for these processes.
