The 6th National Product Stewardship Forum

The Forum consisted of four brainstorming sessions on the following issues:
- Lessons learned from legislation across all products (especially electronics, lamps, thermostats, auto switches, batteries, and paint);
- Harmonization of state EPR programs, including framework policy; and
- Battery stewardship: exploring options to increase the recycling of rechargeable batteries, harmonize state programs and laws, and explore management options for alkaline batteries, among other topics.
- Packaging stewardship: exploring options for managing packaging waste, including beverage containers.
