Extending the Circuit: Meeting the E-Waste Recycling Challenge in Rural New York
Wednesday, September 26, 1-2pm ET
Overview: What can rural solid waste managers do to adapt to new product take-back laws and maximize EPR benefits, and what difficulties do they face? What are the challenges to collecting e-waste in rural areas, and how does this affect the way recyclers operate their businesses? This webinar will address these questions, and will provide results from PSI’s study of the first year impacts of New York’s e-waste law on rural parts of the state. While this session is focused specifically on New York, lessons will be valuable to rural areas nationwide. Ample time for audience questions will be provided.
