The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) and the Product Stewardship Institute are jointly hosting a meeting discuss product stewardship priorities for the state. We will develop a consensus on the criteria to be used to identify priority products that have the most significant post-use impacts, and to jointly develop strategies for addressing these priority waste streams. This effort is being conducted in conjunction with the Governor’s Recycling Working Group. All stakeholders are encouraged to attend – businesses, municipal officials, environmental organizations, and recyclers.
Check back soon for more information, including an agenda and additional background materials.
